FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: bitter liqueur is prepared by blending birch buds and holy-grass infusion with coriander seed aromatic alcohol, sugar syrup, portwine, color, citric acid and an aqueous-spirituous liquid. Birch infusion is mixed successively with holy-grass infusion and citric acid and the obtained mixture is added to blend at terminating stage of blending but before color addition. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, enhanced quality of product.
