DEVICE FOR GROUND FREEZING Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: construction; applicable in thermal amelioration of grounds of foundation bases of structures erected in the permafrost regions. SUBSTANCE: in the known device of ground freezing including ground and air heat exchangers and connecting heat pipeline, provided with condensate pipeline, the latter is made in form of cord from hygroscopic filter medium communicating with its one end with hot well, and with its other end, with scatterer, which are made in form of screens with the latter provided with bottom plate and connected with device body for relative axial motion. The indicated features of the device design materially improve efficiency of its operation due to elimination of heat losses and prevention of scattering of heat flux and provision of selective local thermal amelioration of ground in depth of its occurrence. EFFECT: efficient application in erection of various structure in northern regions with preservation of natural state of permafrost grounds. 2 cl, 1 dwg
