FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to thermomelioration of ground for bases of foundations for buildings and structures erected primarily in permafrost regions. Device for cooling and freezing of ground has ground and air heat exchangers with connecting heat-pipeline which is provided with heat insulating coating and thermal coupling, and it is made in the form of flexible corrugated hose. Aforesaid peculiarities substantially enhance operating efficiency of device and widen its functional potentialities. Device can be successfully used in erection of various structures in northern areas with retention of natural primordial condition of permafrost. EFFECT: high efficiency. 4 dwg
