FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: warning device has two insulating frames each carrying two groups of wires fixed on them in bearings; wires on one frame are spaced apart at greater distance than those on other frame. Different potentials are fed from power supply to different groups of wires through recording instrument. Electric conductance changes as soon as space between wires is fully filled up which is sensed by recording instrument as appearance of ice. Wires function at the same time as heating elements.
