FIELD: rolling, mainly, finishing scale breakers of hot roll broad strip mill installed behind the flying shears of mill stand finishing group. SUBSTANCE: scale breaker includes posts with apertures, upper and lower draw rollers with roll chocks installed on the cross-piece connecting posts with air cylinders for raising the upper roller installed on cross-piece, installed in post apertures are holders in which roll chocks of upper and lower rollers are mounted. Holders are interconnected by couplings to which mounting clamps are secured. Air cylinders raising the upper roller are installed in hinged supports, and rods of air cylinders are hinged with upper roller chocks. EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality of scale removal from strip, reduced labor input, duration of roller replacement and standstills of rolling mill. 3 dwg
