FIELD: metallurgy, production of phosphorus-containing alloys based on copper, titanium, iron, and other metals or mixtures thereof. SUBSTANCE: operations of reducing phosphorus, of melting alloy-forming metal, and of dissolving phosphorus therein are carried out simultaneously. For this purpose, oxygen-containing phosphorus compound, reducing agent and alloy-forming metal are used in form of powders with particle size not more than 1 mm. Powders are blended together to form homogeneous mixture, followed by providing temperature of at least 700 C within local mixture volume. As alloy-forming metal method uses one or more metals selected from group consisting of copper, iron, nickel, and titanium while reducing agent can be aluminium, magnesium or calcium. Oxygen-containing phosphorus compound can be represented by phosphorus pentoxide, apatite or phosphorite concentrates. It is also possible to add to feedstock mixture oxide of alloy-forming metal, thereby increasing recovery rate of metal values into finished alloy. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl
