FIELD: education. SUBSTANCE: device has emitter which is designed as serial circuit of high-frequency oscillator, rectangular funnel, electromagnetic lens, unit which alters masks, alternating masks, rotating rack 7 and analyzing unit which has receiving funnel, detector and indicator. Said serial circuit is located base. Each alternating mask is designed as metal plate with rectangular holes. Number of holes, distance between them, their size determine number of emitters, distance between them, excitation amplitude and beam pattern of emitters of antenna array to be modeled. In addition metal walls with dielectric straps between them are located between holes in masks. This results in possibility to determine excitation phase of emitters of antenna array to be modeled. EFFECT: possibility to model antenna arrays and to demonstrate influence of number of emitters, distance between them, shape of their beam patterns, excitation amplitudes and phases on beam pattern of linear antenna array. 3 dwg
