FIELD: chemical idustry. SUBSTANCE: invention describes preparation of 2,3: 4,6-diisopropylidene-alpha-L-sorbofuranose (vitamic C synthesis semiproduct) by using phosphorus-molybdenum catalyst at Mo:P molar ratio of 3-12. Catalysts are synthesized by dissolving in water or phosphoric acid solution containing phases α (x = 6-24) or P2O5•xMoO3 previously subjected to mechanical and chemical activation at 20-100 C and concentration of original compounds of 5-50 wt.-%. Use of these catalysts makes it possible to increase yield of product up to 90% and solve problem of regeneration of catalysts. EFFECT: improved properties. 4 cl
