FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out for two stages in medium of hydrocarbon solvent by interaction of n-butyl chloride with metallic lithium dispersion at 0-60 C at the first stage and at 65-90 C at the second stage at mole ratio of n-butyl chloride : lithium = 0.65-0.85 of stoichiometry. Obtained products were separated in reactor without stirring. The end product at amount 65-95% of reaction mass volume is removed from the bottom zone to the second stage that is carried out in the second reactor; upper layer containing unreacted lithium is remained in the first reactor; then mass is stirred in reactor and lithium dispersion is added at amount that corresponds to reacted lithium at the first stage. Then the next cycle of butyllithium synthesis is carried out in the first reactor. After each 5-15 cycles reaction products from the first stage were fed to the second stage at stirring and synthesis is terminated at the second stage by feeding the required amount of butyl chloride to the second reactor also. Synthesis is carried out at batch butyl chloride feeding under volume control of each batch at limits providing the reaction heat effect that ensures to increase reaction mass temperature by 5-10 C, not above. Synthesized product is used for monomer polymerization in rubber and thermoelastoplastics production. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 2 cl, 3 tbl, 1 dwg
