FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: when method of successive injection of fuel at preset injection angles is used, crankshaft angle increment signals are generated and these increments are counted relative to reference signal. By means of increment signals it is decided whether injection angle, set as increment is attained. Basing on this result, injection process corresponding to increment value is effected and injection is either started or cut off. Using this method angles of commencement of injection and /or angles of end of injection can be determined more accurately and angular positions at injection process relative to suction process can be set more accurately. This prevents overenrichment and overleaning of fuel mixture owing to the fact that injection process is started simultaneously with going off preceding suction stroke, or injection is carried out after: suction stroke which serves as selected standard stroke.
