FIELD: traumatology; orthopedics; prosthetics of coxofemoral joint; surgical treatment of degenerative-distrophic diseases of locomotor apparatus. SUBSTANCE: proposed endoprosthesis prop comprises longitudinal rod having through-going axial channel and made integral with neck. Latter has fit-providing taper, transitory resilient-elastic portion and base which is mated with sloped supporting platform. Neck portion is made in form of curved beam having through-going curvilinear slots and is separated from neck base by through-going slot, guideways of which diverge on side of neck wall serving to connect fit-providing taper with lower edge of supporting platform. Rod is formed with transversely extending oppositely directed through-going slots, diverging ends of which are arranged alternately on side of medial wall and, later, on side of lateral wall, starting from lateral wall adjacent to supporting platform. Some rod portions formed by oppositely directed through-going slots are provided with auxiliary through-going slots, ends of which do not reach rod walls. Supporting platform of endoprosthesis prop has shape of oval expanded in direction of platform slope. Length of major axis of oval is equal to A=(3.28-3.35)d, wherein d is diameter of distal rod end. Supporting platform is arranged at angle 65 deg. +2.5 deg in relation to longitudinal axis of rod, while symmetry axis of fit-providing taper forms angle 140-145 deg in relation to rod axis. As viewed in horizontal section, proximal end of rod is parabolically shaped on side of medial wall, while on side of lateral wall it is shaped as variable-diameter semicircle closing parabola.
