FIELD: plastic metal working, namely, strengthening carrying members of cargo cars; may be used in manufacture and repair of side frames of trucks. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two supports and vertical housing mounted between them and supporting hydraulic press in its upper portion. Slide of press is mounted with possibility of reciprocating vertical motion. In lower portion of housing bearing member for limiting camber of frame and probe spring-loaded relative to bearing member are arranged. Apparatus is provided with loading mechanism secured to lower horizontal surface of slide in the form of C-shaped breaker embracing upper land of frame and assembly of seven mutually connecting cylinders secured to lower horizontal surface of bracket. Cylinders are arranged according to mounting places of springs of leaf spring set of truck. Such apparatus provides enhanced efficiency due to eliminating mounting and demounting operations of loading mechanism as strengthening each side frame and allows to strengthen different parts after simple readjustment.
