FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to pile structures intended for arrangement of pile foundations in grounds of low strength. Pile has body which is made up of longitudinal components extending fan-like from center of pile. Longitudinal components are curved in plan in same direction so that each pair of adjacent longitudinal components creates contour which is open outside in plan. Each longitudinal component can be in plan of polygonal or curvilinear configuration. This increases strength of seating open-profile pile in loose grounds and adds load-bearing capacity and anchoring properties to piles. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 6 dwg
