FIELD: thermal reworking of wastes. SUBSTANCE: chamber contains metal cylindrical housing with end flanges and lining 3 made from refractory material. Housing is provided with jacket fitted with cooling agent supply pipe unions. Lining is provided with central axial passage, no less than 70 mm in length with gas inlet and outlet holes at diameter of (0.3-1.0)d which is filled with packing made from the same material as lining; size of each member is (0.15-0.3)d.
