FIELD: microwave engineering; handling microwave circuits by means of semiconductor switches built around p-i-n diodes. SUBSTANCE: method involves driving p-i-n diodes in conduction in desired combination which handle microwave signal during initial passage of pulse burst and reliably cutting them off upon completion of pulse burst passage; for driving p-i-n diodes in conduction, use is made of transmitter modulator control signals which are supplied during each transmitted radio pulse at the same time affording cut-off of p-i-n diodes within pulse burst after separate or several closely located pulses by cleaning out stored charge in p-i-n diodes.
