FIELD: medicine; restoration of knee joint functions. SUBSTANCE: proposed knee joint endoprosthesis comprises tibial portion, femoral portion, tibial plateau, shaft, shackle, polyethylene sleeves, polyethylene plug, and rod inserted through opening in shackle into recess formed in tibial plateau. Rod carries stop member for cooperation with femoral portion. Tibial plateau carries projection adapted to cooperate with recess formed in tibial portion for limiting rotation of tibial plateau in relation to tibial portion. Proposed endoprosthesis is suitable for restoring knee joint functions in patients suffering with various aftereffects of non-purulent inflammatory diseases, degenerative and dystrophic processes, traumata and tumoral processes in knee joint area.
