FIELD: cleaning solid material surfaces from radionuclides. SUBSTANCE: method involves covering of contaminated surface with powered compound on glass fabric backing. Its composition is as follows, mass percent: magnesium powder - 50-80; potassium nitrate - 1-5; industrial oil - 1-2; aluminium-magnesium powder - the rest; plus 2-7 mass percent of glass-forming frit relative to mass of mixture with frit softening temperature of 500-600 C. Compound is then fired, section under treatment is heated to plastic state, and hot section is mechanically removed together with combustion products, waste is recovered and buried. EFFECT: improved economic efficiency and safety of process. 3 cl
