SUBSTANCE: method involves chromatography/mass-spectrometry or chromatography analysis of biomass with respect to the content of microbial cells: fatty acids, hydroxyacids, aldehydes and others. Firstly, amount of all indicated substances in biomass is determined. Then the composition of the same substance for each possible member of microorganism association is determined and then the presence and amount of the separate members of microorganism in consortium is determined.
