FIELD: biochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for determining the reference values of indicators of microorganisms in the prostate gland is described, which allows for a highly accurate diagnosis of chronic prostatitis by comparing with the developed standards for the content of microbiota in the prostate secretion. Within the framework of the method, molecular components of microbial origin — microbial markers, microbial marker mass spectrometry method are identified and quantified in clinical material, prostate secretion using gas chromatography mass spectrometry, based on the obtained data, the microbial community is reconstructed in the test material using a standard algorithm. Comparative analysis and statistical processing of the obtained data on the microbial landscape in the biomaterial, together with the clinical picture observed in the patient at the time of sampling, allow to form ideas about the qualitative and quantitative composition of microorganisms in the absence of pathology: the reference value, the norm, as well as the magnitude of deviations from this value for each group of microorganisms in pathology. The invention provides for the determination of microbial communities in the prostate secretion with the possibility of diagnostic evaluation of the results obtained to detect deviations from the norm of one microorganism or a group of microorganisms, confirm the presence of prostatitis, differential diagnosis between bacterial, viral and abacterial prostatitis, prescribe etiotropic drugs, and also to monitor the course of treatment patients, in particular to change the stage of therapy in the case of polymicrobial infections.

EFFECT: invention can be used in monitoring the analyses of patients with chronic prostatitis for timely detection of the threat of exacerbation.
