FIELD: mechanical engineering, operations of surface full-depth form grinding for determining the error of part formed dimensions in preset working duty. SUBSTANCE: the error of part dimensions is determined according to the difference between the actual quantities of movement of the points under measurement on the surface of the ground specimen and the preset tolerances for them. Preliminarily ground are the specimen lateral sides, then the specimen length is divided to the preset cutting depth, and the first section is ground at the minimum speed of longitudinal feed by the machine; the second section is ground at the speed of longitudinal speed preset in the working duty; then two multiturn clock-type indicators are installed on a holder, their test-points being arranged in the same plane perpendicularly to each other; the upper indicator is furnished with a sharp tip on the test-point; the plane of the test-points of the indicators is matched with the plane of the specimen cross-section of the vertical indicator tip would be positioned on the point of the specimen ground surface under measurement; the vertical and horizontal indicators (the latter being adjusted to the specimen is moved lengthwise perpendicularly to the plane of the test-points of the indicators to the second section, and the point of the vertical indicator tip is matched with the point under measurement; movement of the point in the vertical and horizontal planes is determined by reference to the indicator, and the error of part dimensions in the given point is calculates according to the preset tolerances. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 8 dwg
