FIELD: gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, determined are outputs of gas wells, well is closed at well head, pressure increase is measured at well head after certain intervals of time, and pressure restoration curve is plotted. According to initial section of this curve covering several wells of deposit, determined is maximal value of pressure increase velocity in time unit, and integral dependence is created between well output and pressure increase, and this is used for determining output of operating gas well after preliminary determination of maximal pressure increase in this well.
