FIELD: thermal power stations. SUBSTANCE: boiler furnace is partitioned by dividing waterwalls 2 into central and peripheral combustion chambers 3 and 4 communicating through top and bottom crossover ports 5 and 6; mounted level with the latter are burners 7 and air nozzles 8, 9 facing, respectively, interior of peripheral and central combustion chamber 4 and 3. Dividing waterwalls 2 are arch-shaped and mounted between conventional circumference 1 and flue; air nozzles 8, 9 are mounted on adjacent waterwalls near flue angles in staggered manner. Arched dividing waterwalls 2 form central combustion chamber 2 whose shape approaches cyclone one which enlarges horizontal component of flame twist and eliminates carbon loss in riddlings and in fly ash; staggered arrangement of nozzles 8, 9 at furnace corners eliminates coke dust riddlings they close open area of bottom transfer port 6. Coke dust is more effectively burned in peripheral combustion chambers 4 due to its treatment with hot flue gases sucked into top crossover ports 5 from central combustion chamber 3. EFFECT: improved utilization of furnace interior space for direct combustion of coke dust, simplified design of furnace. 2 dwg
