FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: mechanism contains at least upper and lower cleaning heads with oppositely directed cutters installed on shaft for free rotation. Between cleaning heads, spacing stabilizer is disposed. Guide stabilizer has a rod with ball member and is fastened in upper part of shaft. Ball member is installed in bushing for limited axial displacement and interaction with inner stop swelling in bushing, which also has conical bored hole in its lower part. Lower part of shaft is provided with collar embraced by cone-shaped lower cleaning head. Mechanism also has an additional section with cleaning heads appropriate to be inserted between bushing and load. The latter is linked to hauling device connection unit. When mechanism moves in ascending flow of borehole fluid, its cleaning heads rotate in opposite directions cutting deposits with their cutters, cut deposits being entrained by flow toward the surface. EFFECT: increased reliability and productivity of pipe cleaning operation. 5 cl, 6 dwg
