FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has surgical laser unit, pilot laser, unit for superimposing the beams of both lasers having focusing optical system. Shaping optical system is introduced into device structure. The shaping optical system is placed between the surgical laser unit and manipulator and has drive kinematically coupled to it, and drive control unit. The shaping optical system has lenses introduced into the beam or movable along an axis. The lenses being changed or moved by the drive, the surgical beam constriction neck changes at the outlet from the manipulator. The constriction neck size change can be carried out at any time during surgical operation. The shaping and focusing system parameters being selected among solutions of a system of equations including surgical laser beam transfer equation and boundary conditions, constriction neck position does not change at the outlet from the manipulator when lens change or displacement takes place. Focal point position is shown by means of two pilot beams intersecting at the point of surgical laser beam constriction at the outlet from the manipulator. Two pilot beams are produced by splitting pilot laser beam and directed by reflectors into the manipulator. EFFECT: wide range of applications. 8 dwg
