FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming bimetal billet; sintering, heating for short period of time and providing additional compaction of billet. Bimetal billet is formed by making first layer with following premolding to obtain porosity of 40-45%; providing second layer with following final joint pressing of both layers to obtain porosity of 15-20%. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of powder. 1 dwg
