SUBSTANCE: apart from items counter, system incorporates provision for detecting emergency situations, such as channel duplicating unit controlling operation of only one channel so as not to occupy communication channel with data from other sensor; in addition, system has facilities for serviceability check of sensors during transfer of cycle pulse.
