FIELD: image shaping and transmission for remote control and measurement of temperature patterns of various entities. SUBSTANCE: novelty is proposed thermal imager is that single physical member functions as optical switch and as two reference-radiation sources. Such combination of functions is attained due to making optical switch in the form of disk with alternating transparent and nontransparent regions for thermal radiation; some of nontransparent regions have reflection factor ε1 and remaining ones, ε2 ≠ ε1; nontransparent regions are used as reference radiation sources. EFFECT: improved accuracy and reduced size and power requirement of device.
