DETACHABLE CLAMP Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: fittings, in particular, clamp for fastening of cards and badges to clothing. SUBSTANCE: detachable clamp which may be attached to one article has clamping member with clamping rod for fastening between surface of other article positioned in parallel with clamping rod and clamping member. Clamping member is made in the form of pin with two parallel branches. One of branches forms wire grip made in the form of pointed resilient clamping rod, which may be inserted and withdrawn from pin head, and other branch forms fastening rod. End of fastening rod is bent at right angle to define pin head with bent sides and embracing passage adapted for receiving pointed end of resilient clamping rod. Two transverse guides in the form of open loops are positioned at both sides of fastening rod perpendicular to branches of clamping member and adapted to be countersunk in reference openings, which are made in rigid supporting surface of first article. Retainers are passed through open loops at both sides of rigid supporting surface of first article. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 9 dwg
