WORN-OUT TYRE UTILIZATION DEVICE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; utilization of worn-out automobile tyros and production of construction panels and other articles in demand. SUBSTANCE: device has three additional modules "Б","В","Г" for stage utilization of tyro together with main modulo A. One of additional modules is arranged at side of working surface, and two others at side surface of tyre. Driven cutting tool of main module is made in form of cutting head 10. Additional module arranged at working surface of tyre has cutting tool in form of disks 15 installed for free rotation. One of modules arranged at tyre side has breaking tool 19 in form of driven cutting head. Other module has breaking tool in form of fixed cutters installed in cutter holder 2. Cutter holder is installed for horizontal and vertical displacement. Cutting edges of tools in modules installed at working surface of tyre are arranged in plane of tyre rotation. In other modules tools are installed with cutting edges square to plane of tyre rotation. Device has also tear-off module "Д", with pull winch 25 and mechanism separating tyre into layers made in form of stratifying member 28, knife 29, guide roller 30 and movable axle 31.
