FIELD: lubricating fluids for metal working. SUBSTANCE: exhausted lubricating fluid is treated by water-immiscible solvent followed by oil and water phase separation, filtration of oil phase, and stripping solvent for reutilization in following purification cycles. After such treatment, the two phases have no features of biodegradation. Water phase is further used as water return for preparing lubricating fluid. Stripped oil phase is used as regenerated oil. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wear-resistance of tools.
