FIELD: engine (thrust) systems for spatial movement of objects and devices for conversion of mechanical energy to energies of other types. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in induction of a magnetic field in space by a source of magnetic field with a vector potential oriented at an angle of 90 to 270 deg. towards the cosmological vector potential, reduction of induction of magnetic field of the magnetic field source in the local space zone in the field of low values of vector potential equal to the sum of the mentioned vector potentials, arrangement of the mass at least by part of them, and rotation of bodies mechanically linked with consumers of mechanical energy in this zone. The bodies are preliminarily spun up about the axes perpendicular to the planes, in which the vectors of the magnetic field vector potential of the magnetic field source and cosmological vector potential are arranged, until each body attains the condition when the moment of impressed forces equals zero relative to the body center of mass; after that the preliminary spinning-up action is removed, and the consumers of energy are connected to the bodies. The device variants (mechanical energy generators) have magnetic field sources made in the form of axisymmetric magnetic systems, and bodies arranged in them, made in the form of rotors mechanically linked with the systems of preliminary spinning-up of rotors and with the systems for connection of rotors to the consumers of mechanical energy, and made in the form of bodies of revolution, whose axes are parallel to the axes of symmetry of the magnetic systems.
