FIELD: cosmic engineering; gaseous working medium supply systems of plasma accelerator. SUBSTANCE: gas-shielded isolating device has working medium supply line 1, two flanges 2 carrying magnets 3, and working medium removal line 4. Isolator 5 with through spiral channel 6 of working medium passage is placed between flanges. Gas is delivered over working medium supply line 1. It passes through isolator 5 and is branched away over working medium removal line 4. When gas passes through isolator free electrons are caught by magnetic field lines. They rotate about magnetic field lines over circular orbit. In addition, electrons move along magnetic field line in direction of channel wall where they recombine without causing ionization of wall material because of low energy. EFFECT: reliable electric insulation between gas route sections of working medium supply system which are characterized by high difference of potentials. 2 cl, 1 dwg
