FIELD: metallurgical industry. SUBSTANCE: this is used in heating steel in teeming ladle based on utilizing heat of exothermic oxidization reactions. According to method, in process of heating steel in ladle, introduced into metal is aluminium in the form of wire at linear speed within 5-10 m/s and amount of 0.5-3.0 kg per 1 t of steel. After introduction of aluminium, delivered into metal is oxygen through immersed tuyere down to depth of 0.4-0.6 of depth of metal in ladle in amount of 0.18-0.32 cu.m/min per 1 t of steel during 1-12 min. Then metal is blown through immersed tuyere with neutral gas at flow rate of 0.1-0.4 cu.m/h per 1 t of steel during 3-6 min. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 tbl
