FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: steel wire is fed into ladle with magnesium as a filler at consumption 0.3-1.0 kg/t cast iron. Then cast iron is blown with neutral gas through the blast furnace tuyere for 0.5-4.0 min at consumption 0,10-0,14 m3/t cast iron, slag is removed from the ladle, cast iron is kept in ladle at least for two minutes and poured into converter. EFFECT: improved method of desulfurization. 1 tbl
