FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, steel continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: to produce steel with especially low content of carbon within 0.001-0.01 % in continuous casting, prior to beginning of in-line degassing, steel is saturated with nitrogen within the range of 0.01-0.05%. In this case, steel is blow in converter by blowing through bottom tuyeres with nitrogen in form rate of 0.04-015 cu.m/min per ton of steel, or prior to vacuum degassing, introduced into steel is nitrated manganese with consumption of 1-3 kg per ton of steel, or in steel discharge from converter, introduced into steel is carbamide CO(NH2)2 with consumption of 0.2-2.0 kg per ton of steel. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 1 tbl
