FIELD: metallurgy; foundry. SUBSTANCE: method consists in that mold with melt is enveloped over its side surface by induction heater. Mold base is located at the level or somewhat higher than the middle line by induction heater height. Then, mold is aligned with induction heater. Just after request, the induction heater is energized. Current intensity during the entire time of crystallization of metal and/or alloy is invariable in value. After full solidification electric circuit is broken. EFFECT: absent pipe in molten material due to properly selected value of current intensity.
