FIELD: tribotechnique for forming and restoring wear-resistant friction surfaces. SUBSTANCE: method consists in placing the mixture of abrasive-like mineral powder, type serpentine, with binder between friction surfaces followed by running-in. Chrysolite may be used as mineral powder with additional introduction of powders of kaolinite, oxides of lanthanum, yttrium, aluminium and iron at definite ratios, mass-%. Dispersity of powders ranges from 4 to 10. EFFECT: increased service life and enhanced reliability of friction surfaces.
