FIELD: mechanical engineering; application of cermet coats on parts made from ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preparation of modifying compound on base of mixture of serpentinites ground to dispersity of 0.1-10.0 mkm and containing, mass-%: silicon, 32-45; magnesium oxide, 18-26; ferric oxide, 10-14 and constitution water in bound state, 10-14 followed by preparation of technological medium through mixing modifying compound with liquid organic binder in the amount of 0.5-20.0% and 70- 99.5% respectively of mass of technological medium; then, technological medium is fed to surface of part to be treated by immersing the part in this medium and technological mixture is subjected to mechanical activation continued for 50-60 minutes by ultrasonic mechanical vibrations at frequency of 22-24 kHz and power of 0.1-10.0 kW.
