FIELD: mass-exchange columns for interaction of gas (vapor)-liquid systems for performing absorption and rectification processes; chemical, petrochemical and gas industries and other industries. SUBSTANCE: column includes vertical cylindrical housing with horizontal one-through jet plates arranged inside it in tiers and overflow devices. Each plate is divided with diametrical partitions located in one horizontal plane adjoining the wall of housing over vertical line. Length of each partition is more than half diameter of housing. Each plate is provided with overflow devices in zone where diametrical partition adjoins the housing; overflow devices are made in the form of vertical overflow pipes mounted in plates; upper edges of these pipes are located above surfaces of plates and lower edges are used as overflow pipes of lower plates. Lower edges of overflow pipes are located above planes of plates by amount of no less than 1/4 of inner diameter of drain pipe. Planes of plates are provided with perforations in the form of arch slots with convexities upward; their axes are tangentially directed to one and the same side beyond circle passing through outer vertical shear of diametrical partition; inside this circle, axes of arch slots ate directed in parallel with plane of partition from drain pipe on one side of partition and towards overflow pipe on other side from diametrical partition. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 dwg
