FIELD: processes of absorption, rectification, gas scrubbing under conditions of low specific loads in liquid; may be used in chemical, petrochemical, gas, food and other allied industries. SUBSTANCE: trays for running heat-mass-transfer processes include plates installed one above another in vertical cylindrical column. Plate is horizontal, round in cross-section and provided with central steam round cap having perforations in its side walls. Tray has vertical discharge pipe tightly mounted in plate of upper tray between column wall and cap. Upper edge of discharge pipe is located above plate of upper tray. Tray has also vertical overflow pipe installed in plate of tray between column wall and cap so that upper edge is located at some distance from tray plate. Discharge and overflow pipes are located nearby. Located diametrically between discharge and overflow pipes, between column wall and cap is vertical partition with width spreading to opposite side wall of cap and with height equalling the distance between trays in vertical plane. Lower edge of discharge pipe is spaced from plate for a value equalling 1/4 of inner diameter of discharge pipe. Lower edge of overflow pipe is spaced from plate of underlying tray for a value of 1/4 of its diameter. Cap lower edges are tightly attached to tray plate. Made in tray plate between column walls and cap side walls and between discharge and overflow pipes are perforations in the form of arched slots with convexity upward and located over concentric circumferences round cap center with their axes directed at an acute angle to tangent of circumferences towards one and the same side of location of tray plate center. Perforations in cap side walls are made in the form of arched slots with convexity outside and with their axes directed vertically down. EFFECT: higher efficiency of mass transfer by Murphy due to more close contact of phases gas(vapor)-liquid and reduced longitudinal mixing of liquid on tray. 6 dwg
