FIELD: heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat-exchange apparatus comprises circular passages 1, throttling devices 2, inlet branch pipe 3, outlet branch pipe 4, fins in the form of spiral coils 5 and condensate discharge device 6. When apparatus operates in cooling mode, for example, medium is fed to branch pipe 3. Due to fins made in the form of spiral coils 5, medium flows over zigzag contour including all circular passages 1 and throttling devices 2 and escapes through branch pipe 4 and condensate, if available, may be removed through condensate discharge device 6. Parts of apparatus may be manufactured from steel, non-ferrous metal or alloy sheets. Parts may be assembled mechanically, as well as by means of welding or soldering. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat exchange; possibility to use apparatus as condenser; reduced overall dimensions of apparatus, facilitated manufacture and assembly. 2 cl, 1 dwg
