FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: after smelting furnace 1 and external stack cradle 2 are filled with smelt, metal conduit 4 is vertically or obliquely installed into external stack cradle, gate 6 being tightly closed. Inclined offset 7 from metal conduit is brought in connection with injector 8, whereto gas pressurized to 10-12 atm is then fed to create ejection on the cut of nozzle and therefore to make smelt from stack cradle 2 rise to level of branch pipe 7, through which smelt is transferred to nozzle. Pressure of pressurized gas is then reduced to 3-5 atm, whereas smelt from external stack cradle keeps coming by gravity through offset 7 owing to nozzle of injector 8 being located below smelt level of furnace stack cradle 2. If spraying process is to be stopped, metal conduit 4 is brought in connection through gate 6 with atmosphere or compressed gas line - smelt level in metal conduit falls to the level of smelt in furnace and metal flow through metal conduit into spray chamber is interrupted.
