FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of spherical metal powder from molten metals and alloys. Proposed plant comprises compressed gas source, melting furnace with crucible for melt arranged in housing with sealed working cavity, gas cleaning filter, hopper with melt sprayer connected to crucible through vertical channel to ensure melt supply under pressure of sealed working cavity with compressed gas. Melt sprayer comprises melt spray nozzle. Sealed working cavity is provided with channels for supply and discharge of compressed gas to ensure its pressurisation with compressed gas through control valve installed on compressed gas supply channel. Before the gas cleaning filter, the cyclone is installed, and the hopper and the cyclone are equipped with cooled reservoirs for powder collection.
EFFECT: obtaining spherical powder with particle size of up to 160 mcm.
