FIELD: applicable in removal of gases from liquids, particular, from transformer oil. SUBSTANCE: method includes two stages: macrodegassing and microdegassing. Stage of macrodegassing includes frothing of oil in evacuated space, breaking of oil bubbles and separation of gas fraction of impurities from oil. Device for degassing of oil has evacuated body and separating unit located in its upper part. Formed between separating unit and oil accumulated in body lower part is above-liquid evacuated space. Separator has reservoir for oil reception and is provided with dissector of oil flow and side holes. Oil is frothed in reservoir. Oil flows down on oil distributing partition of separator. At the stage of microdegassing, oil flowing down in thin film from partition edges is subjected to above-liquid evacuated space. In this case, desorption of gas molecules from oil is accomplished and their removal from the body. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
