FIELD: vulcanization of rubber mixes. SUBSTANCE: vulcanizing agent is prepared by reacting sulfur with styrene or α- limonenone at 125-140 C at sulfur to unsaturated hydrocarbon molar ratio of 25:1 to 10:1 in the presence of maleic anhydride and subsequently reacting intermediate product with dicyclopentadiene or 5- ethyliden-2-norbornene in amount of 2.5-10.0 % based on weight of intermediate product.
