SUBSTANCE: in the first treatment phase, into smelt, calcium and/or aluminum-containing additives are blown in quantity corresponding content of sulfur in smelt under stirring, reagents being blown in into smelt containing acidic initial slag (first version) or into smelt devoid of acidic initial slag (second version). In the second treatment phase, at least one desulfurization reagent is blown in in quantity corresponding content of sulfur in smelt. Calcium-containing reagents are added in the third treatment phase.
