FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at conferring aluminum objects functional properties that may be used in different areas: in food industry, in automobile manufacture, etc. Objects are preliminarily treated, subjected to electrolytic deposition of copper layer 5-7 mcm thick, and then thermally treated at 500-540 C to ensure mutual diffusion of base and coating elements. According to another version, after copper coating is applied, nickel coating 5-7 mcm thick is additionally deposited. Possible also is successively depositing nickel and chromium layers onto copper-coated surface, thickness of each layer being 5-7 mcm. According to the fourth version, copper- coated surface is coated with manganese layer with the same thickness as above. EFFECT: enlarged functional possibilities of coatings. 4 cl
