COMPOSITION FOR PROTECTIVE-DECORATIVE COATING Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: building materials production; manufacturing of protective-decorative coating for metal, concrete, wood, woody plate materials, asbestos cement; manufacturing of adhesive materials. SUBSTANCE: composition for protective-decorative coating comprises, mas. %: phosphate binder, 7-17; pigment, 3-12; filler, 4-30; surfactant, 0.4-2; latex, 25-55; at least one component being chosen of aerosil, carbon black, clay, hydrolyzed acrylate and oligoester maleinate, 0.15/3.0; foam quenching agent, 0.2-2.0; water, the balance. Antifreezing agent and/or antiseptic agent also may be added, their quantity being 2-7 %. At least one component being chosen of titanium dioxide, ferrum oxide, chromium oxide, spinel, mixture of chromium oxide, cobalt oxide and nickel oxide, together with chromium phosphate, cobalt phosphate, barium chromate, zinc chromate, phthalocyanine pigment and mixture of these components being supported on filler is used as mentioned above pigment. At least one component being chosen of silicium oxide, diatomite silica, kaolin, powdered clay filler, powdered schamotte, powdered andesite, schungite, acid slag, slime of flotation of phosphorite or apatite ores, acid ash-fly, barium sulfate, phosphorous gypsum and mixture of these components is used as mentioned above filler.
