FIELD: decorative finishing of products. SUBSTANCE: compound for decorative coating of building products contains, percent by weight, 5-12 calcium sodium fluorophosphate binder, 0.1-2 of foam suppressor, 0.5-3 of surface-active substance, 25-59 of latex, the balance being water. The process includes premixing and grinding a binder, based on calcium zinc phosphate nitrate borate or calcium sodium fluorophosphate, or calcium zinc phosphate borate or zinc alumophosphate. Similarly treated are shungite and/or acid-resistant pigments, foam suppressor, a surface-active substance and water. The obtained compound is mixed with latex immediately following its preparation or during the guaranteed storage time. When using a double package as an alternative the compound has the 180 mo. storage time. EFFECT: simpler process, improved quality of product. 2 tbl
