FIELD: decorative finishing of products. SUBSTANCE: compound is prepared by making a paste from a phosphate binder chosen from a group containing binders based on calcium zinc phosphate nitrate borate, calcium zinc phosphate borate, sodium fluorophosphate, and zinc aluminophosphate. The binder is mixed with a shungite filter, a surface- active substance, water and a foam-suppressor. The obtained compound has synthetic latex introduced to it. The product components are in the following ratio, percent by weight, 5.0-15.0 of phosphate binder, 12.0-35.0 of shungite, 0.4-3.0% of surface-active substance, 0.05-1.0 of foam suppressor, 25-69.0 of synthetic latex, the balance being water. The compound shows 180 d working life, the coating having a wear resistance of 0.35-0.45 units and a weather stability of 7-8.
